cwebb99, how many miles are on the bike? also what type of riding is causing it to slip, is this easy riding or hard throttle high rpm slipping?
Those engines run hot and heat will kill spring tension over time so don't rule out weak clutch springs.
If you do replace the fiber plates replace the springs also, if the steel plates are blued or warped, replace those also.
You can buy aftermarket clutch kits that come with fibers, springs and some with the steels.
Don't be fooled by "Brand name", I've had good luck with Vesra and Factory brand plates, aftermarket is usually cheaper than OEM.
Shop around, you can find some good prices out there.
