My clutch cable snapped on my cb360t. So I ordered a factory replacement, took out the old one ran it did all that noise. Took off the cover so I could attach it and now there is little to no resistance on the clutch at all, even with it tightened up to the max on both ends. And when I finally do get some tension if I do, there is this loud clicking noise when I pull the clutch in and out. I've tried everything and I definitely am not going to bring it tothe shop. Could it be maybe the bearings in the roller are done for?

Any help would be great, i'll get a few pictures of this nonsense when I get out of work.

    Thanks in advance

    How did you replace it?

"Just back your clutch cable adjuster right off at the handlebar lever then slacken the adjustment below at the clutch its self, most Honda's you back the adjuster nut and screw (found under a cover on most models) out so the clutch is totally at rest.
Loosen the adjusters on the cable and unhook it from the actuating lever.

Dead simple and just as easy to put it all back in with the new cable though you can save yourself a lot of grief by leaving the old cable where it is and tying the new one to it then pulling the old cable out, this threads the new cable through your bike the way the old one was.

I'd probably use string or a cable tie to connect the two cables and make sure you attach the bottom of the new one to the top of the old one before you pull it down. Grin
Hopefully the old one was correctly threaded through the frame/electrics etc.
Adjusting the clutch back to the way you want it is covered in your manual but basically you attache the bottom cable first to the actuating lever, screw the adjuster screw in until it just touches the clutch then back it out say half a turn (book might say different) then lock it with the lock nut.
Attach the top cable to the lever and have it all set to adjust but don't adjust it, leave it slack at the lever and adjust only at the bottom of the cable, once you are happy with the lower adjustment pop up stairs and adjust at the handlebar lever to suit your own tastes........hope that helps........."

I have no idea why your clutch is making noise. I have never had the problem. Good luck to you.

I cant seem to download the manual on this website, even though I did pay my dues via paypal. I have no idea. If there is anyone that has the manual that will just transfer the file over the internet or host it for me that would be greatly appreciated.
